In this bilingual workshop, we will explore two Theater of the Oppressed techniques to deepen understanding of how we move in the world and process the internal messages and tensions that we carry. Theater of the oppressed is a toolkit of exercises that seeks to humanize people, draw from the knowledge we have embedded in our bodies, and create space for participants to rehearse taking action. It begins with the idea that everyone has the capacity to act in the "theater" of our lives; everybody is at once an actor and a spectator. We are all spect-actors!
